And from a first look. It's all sequels.. Hooray..another CoD...OMG a new Halo *Who saw that coming!?* And another Gears of War (Sigh).
Oh, and Xbox has motion control now (Like an eyetoy...BUT BETTER! *Not really*)
They made the 360 again it seems?
Honestly. I think going through the GT E3 Exclusive list- I found about...4 new (NOT sequel's) games that look like they might be worth a play.
-Alan Wake
-Devil's third
-Vanquish (worst voice acting in a trailer EVER but the combat looks like alot of fun, and keep in mind, this was 50 down the list of the "Hot hits" at E3.

So...Why am I bothered?

I'm bothered because I want something NEW.
I don't want to play another Fallout.
I don't want to see another CoD.
Halo died at number 3 for myself. For god's sake. MAKE SOMETHING NEW.

I know- they make money from them, why would they want to put effort into something new if the current thing is working?

But come on...this is the 7th CoD. And the 12,000th Metal Gear Solid...

We have a re-birth of Mortal Kombat? Looks fun...IT'S THE 9TH MORTAL KOMBAT! 9!?!??
From the release trailer, they haven't even added any new characters? What the hell?
I love Nightwolf and I rock the cheese out of Kabal, but COME ON. I want to use someone different besides the same two characters I have been using since the Super Nintendo!

No you are not the only one wanting some originality, but, as you said why make something new if the old is working, well I think the only way this will change is if we start getting less "Fan Boys" on games like CoD and Halo, BUT! it could also because game developers have lost any and all imagination, like to be honest loved Halo, 2 was ok but i didn't want to bother with the third simply because although i enjoyed the 1st two both had very similar story lines, which annoyed me as there is so much room to broaden it form the first game, but after 2 being so similar there is only so much you can do from there without making peoples heads explode.

I'd love to see a new free roam FPS to be honest, I didn't like Fallout 3 that much, not a big fan of it's gameplay, but I quite enjoy S.T.A.L.K.E.R ShoC, so a new free roam FPS for me would be great, even if it sticks to the post apocalyptic theme.

i agree,i watched all the press confrences and found there to be nothing but repackaged games, i would love to see something just completely out there and ridiculously insane.

Kintec looks pretty cool though
