the ensuing week

As you may/may not know, I'm going to New York this week (stupid, work) and going to pick up this little beauty;



It's called a "Viliv Tablet PC" which I'll be upgrading my the old PDA-style tablet I've had for now about 4 years. I really do love the size of this thing, and touchscreen is awesome -- Since XP Home doesn't have touchscreen drivers, I'll be loading on a Window7 Image via VM Ware that I keep on my home server.

There's a 32GB SSD currently in it, might upgrade it but I rarely ever use the HDD space on here (minus programs like Skype, AIM, Outlook etc) Probably going to upgrade the CPU (1.3GHz Atom -- to the 1.66GHz Atom)

Probably going to set me back about 2k, after exchange rate and such.

That's my week at least... lol

*EDIT*

Theres only 1 AU retailer (where I'll get my AU charger from) its $1,300 AU. Since its $700 +tax (~770$ then) I think it's still cheper there. Its 1k US if it costs 1.3k AU (unless the exchange rate changes from roughly 0.80c/$)
